Edit a Playlist

To edit a playlist, go to the section Playlists to see an overview of all your playlists, then double-click on the playlist that you want to edit.

You will be brought to this screen:

Overview

In this tab, you can see all the content contained in your playlist. You can also add content to the playlist, or remove content from your playlist.

To the right, there are three sections:

  • Library allows you to drag and drop your content to your playlist. You can also add a folder to automatically assign all it’s active content to the playlist.
  • Shared allows you to see the shared playlists. If you double-click on the shared playlist, you can drag-and-drop the items within that shared playlist into your own playlist.
  • Properties allows you to personalize your playlist by defining the contents’ order of appearance (random or in order), type of content (content, side bar, or banner), transition, transition duration, and privacy (private, shared, or public).

Type & Layout

In this tab, you can define whether a content is a main content that takes up the full space of the screen, a side content that appears on either the left or right side of the screen, or a banner that appears at the bottom of a screen.

The Type of Playlist is an important settings that define where it will be displaying on the screen.

  • The Main Content, that fills all the space available after the banners and side contents.
  • Banners, they can be placed at the top or at the bottom of the Screen.
  • Side Contents, they can be placed on the left or on the right of the screen.

Banners and Side Content Playlists offers more options. Our system predefined some Ratio named A, B, C, D, E and F to make it easy to keep the Main Content Ratio.

You can also enter any custom resolution you want by checking the box Use a Custom Resolution.

For example, if you create a Banner with size B and a Side Content with size B and you add both to the player, the main content will keep it’s 16/9 ratio.

Players

This tab allows you to see in which player(s) your playlist is broadcast.
