Migrate Media Player to Windows 11

Windows 10 support end in October 2025, and if you still have computers running with Windows 10, it’s time to plan your upgrade to avoid security issues.

How do I know if my computer is compatible?

Windows 11 introduces new hardware pre-requisites to enhance the security of Windows, so here are the most important criteria:

  • The motherboard and the CPU needs to be compatible with TPM (Trusted Platform Module) version 2.0. Check here for instructions to see how your PC can meet this requirement.
  • The Bios needs to be compatible with UEFI, and Secure Boot capable. Check here for instructions to see how your PC can meet this requirement.
