In order to define your cycles, 4 fields need to be defined:

The first field is the days of the week corresponding to the days on which you want the cycles to take place.

For example, if your establishment is closed on Monday, you would have a cycle from Tuesday to Sunday. So you might have a different look if you use ‘Non-working day’.

The second field is the number of different cycles you want to create.

For example, if you alternate every other week between offering dance or yoga classes, you would choose « Alternation between 2 cycles ».

The third field corresponds to the duration of a cycle, the number of days included in the cycle.

For example, if you alternate between 3 specialty breads every 3 days, you would go for a “3 Cycle Alternation” and a “3 Day Cycle Length”.Image

The fourth field allows you to define the start date of the cycle.

For example, for a school calendar, cycles can vary between different sessions and start on a fixed date. You could have a cycle 1 from Monday to Friday from January 26 to May 25 and a cycle 2 from Tuesday to Saturday from June 20 to August 20.

Once your cycles are established, you can Save them or ‘Save these default settings’. Saving Default Settings allows you to keep saved cycles so you can return to them quickly.
